Hi, just wondering if anyone has had a pop-up like this.

It only comes up when I'm on this hockey site called HFBoards, and I've never had problem with the site before, but now every time I visit it using Firefox I get some file that tries to open and asks where I want to save it.

It's called "ad.timp"

I just cancel it. Could it be a virus?

If you're seeing this behavior on the same computer as in this thread, please stick to your original thread for now. Thanks.

It's actually a different computer. I don't get that pop-up on the computer in the other thread - even on the same site.....

FYI: I'm on the computer from the other thread, and on (Let Me Google It For You) all the links that come up when i click on them I get redirected to fake scans, or McAfee pops up with warnings.

This doesn't happen if I Google it myself and then click on the same links.....no clue why that's happening.

Patient (demonstrating): "Doctor, it hurts when I do this!"
Doctor: "Don't do that."

Don't do that.
