I've used my product key once on my laptop and once again on another computer. If my computer crashes and I need to re-install Microsoft Office on my laptop again, does it count as a usage even though it re-installs on the same computer? Thank you!

Depending on the version of Office you have will say how many machines you can install on. I have Home and Student 2007 and that allows you to install on 3 different machines but as you will be putting it back onto the same machine again I don't think that will count as another machine and you should be OK.
